I don't drink coffee or smoothies. I have a brita filter and I just fill up my water bottle with that filtered water. I never buy bottled water. I'm thrifty as hell.

When I first moved here my hair became a damn disaster. All those mineral deposits made it look like straw. Now Chris buys me water from the aquarium store for me to wash my hair with, and totally set up this MacGuyveresque camp-shower thing inside our shower for me to use it.

But I offset that princessy shit with my pioneer-woman-like coffee and water habits.

I had vacationed down here as a kid a few times so I remembered the smell of rotten eggs while showering evillol and sulferous/salty drinking water evillol

It seperates the men from the boys folks! evillol

And I think Spring Hill is even worse than the immediate Tampa area.

I don't think it filters it, though... It looks like just a dispenser of sorts.

Adorable love!

By the way, yesterday I was in my local Asian supermarket and I saw those cute Japanese dolls you like with your pageboy haircut. Somebody had just snapped up the one with red hair and I swear to gawd it was only 5,99 Euro. I wondered if the Org ever managed to find you one of those when you were looking for it a while back typing

What’s your water/Latte factor like?

Water = Mountian spring/well water - tested - pure as "bought" water hah!

added fliter system onto houe also - we dont buy water we use our own mr.green bottled water taste like plastic to me lol

Latte is NOT a factor - we make offee here when we want it

nod

I drink tap water and make my own coffee, most of the time. any other drink I get is when I buy junk food combos that come with coke.
Bottled water tastes funny to me, but I'll drink it from time to time.
Brita is not as good as you think. try keeping the water in the fridge for a while and look at the top to see all the stuff floating there smile
Unless the tap water is really bad, there's no real advantage in drinking bottled water. It's all a scam IMO.

i use to like Fiji water until i heard that import their bottles from China. that's a little ridiculous considering it's just water, it's just not that serious to me. way too many resources being implemented for something that comes out of the taps for free in our country. lol

and stop drinking bottle water, tha f@ck wrong with you people anyways?

The tap water where I live is HORRID. It tastes like Satan's piss, and it's got such high mineral content that it leaves white stains on everything, glasses, pots, pans, and don't even get me started on my shower door. I have to clean that motherfucker every day. I don't even wash my hair with this shit.

well, i'm sure they're are exceptions. smile

but hey, some bottled water are from the taps of cities with really good water quality. lol

though, if i were you i would get some type of water filtration system intstalled.

We're renting this house, but when we do buy a home, that's definitely on the list.

Get a coffee maker, and brew your own coffee.
You can get a 12 ounce bag of Starbucks coffe for around $9.00
you can get approx 4 cups from an ounce of coffee.
$9.00/48 cups =.19 a cup

I rarely buy coffee when I'm out. Good quality coffee is too cheap where I live to justify the expense. Even when I lived at home in the States, I lived my adult life in Miami, and only brewed coffee the old fashioned way with a stove top expresso maker from the corner Bodega, and good old trusty Cuban "Cafe Bustelo" thumbs up!.

My only vice for a while (at home and in Europe) was "Chai Tea"and/or "Yogi Tea" for approx $5 a serving. Once I figured out how simple the recipe was for this (basically boiling a black tea bag in some milk with spices), I said goodbye to those too. Then once I started going to Asian supermarkets here, I found that there was ready made marsala tea spice available for like 70 cents that I could spoon into boiling water with a black tea bag and milk shocked. A 50 ct. box of black Westminster ceylon tea is 65 cents, milk is 55 cents a liter, my sugar sub 1,69 a bag. When it's all said & done, I churn out 50 tall skinny cups of Chai for 17 euro cents (about 26 cenct US) per serving . Now I only have coffee when I'm out if I'm having a set date with one of my friends. Otherwise I "celebrate the moments of my life" in my own living room with coffee and tea from my kitchen cool

I should add that today in Thailand marks the beginning of 90 days where the monks must stay in the temples and as laypeople my father in law, Mon, and I will not consume any alcohol for that same period, until the full moon on October 14th. That should cut down most of our expenditure on beverages. lol
