I hate packing

I'm going on a trip tomorrow and I would be very excited except that it's come time to start packing.

I HATE packing! pissed

So far, I taken out some clothes that I want to bring and put them on the bed and I have some travel containers.

But that's it.

Help!

Take the necessaries (e.g. 4 pair of drawls, 4 pair of socks, 4 shirts, 1 pair of pants, 1 pair of zubas, toothbrush, deoderant, camera, laptop, bible) as a carry on in case your luggage gets lost (ive had it happen). Bring 3 pairs of shoes. 1 for everyday use, 1 for formal use, and a pair of kick it shoes like sandals. Pack one formal item of clothing, one outfit for the cold, one for the heat, 6 pair of white socks, 2 pair of business sock, and then your toiletries. You should be cool with that.
Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

where you going? hug

I'm actually really good at packing for some reason!
I think it's cause I don't have much stuff.
When I was in europe last summer, I lived a month on half the stuff in my suitcase, and didn't feel like I needed anything else!

You should wrap everything in wrapping paper and tie it with bows and ribbons. This way when you unpack it will be like you are opening presents or something.

packing is lame. i hate it too.

one thing: make sure you take a pillowcase to stash your dirties in. that makes packing a lot easier when you're getting ready to go home from your trip. you can just stuff that pillowcase full of dirty clothes in the suitcase and the dirty clothes don't have to touch whatever clean clothes are left. or you could use a plastic bag if you forget to pack a pillowcase. shrug

now there's an idea. I always used to bring a plastic bag but the pillow case is much more eco friendly.

plus you can just toss that sucker in the washing machine when you get home, unless you're one of those weirdos who separates colors.

My family just bought my niece a plane ticket to come home to Michigan for a few weeks and we had to pay $15 each way for each checked bag! I couldn't believe it!

Me too. I hope it's not all airlines that are going to the pay for luggage thing. We booked on Spirit because it was the least expensive for the ticket itself, but other airlines like Northwest didn't require the luggage checking fee.
