Actually, I've always wanted to see Australia but the length of the plane ride gives me panic attacks. sigh

You must go!

I've been blessed with having been to a few major cities (Munich, Hong Kong, Paris, Bangkok, NYC, San Francisco, Frankfurt, etc. etc.), and London is by far my favorite of those cities. There's an infectious vibe to the place I can't quite pinpoint, and it's packed with museums, history, and a certain charm you'd never expect in a city of its size.

However, I've never been to Amsterdamn or Tokyo which are cities on my short list to see. I'd also like to see Warsaw (Lukasz, you there? ky ), Edinburgh, Seattle, and Brighton among other places too. It's really great to get lost in another culture for a while--especially when the one you live in (and believe me, I love being American, but...) is so plastic sometimes.

Damn that looks like the castle I will one day own razz

If theres anywhere I would go overseas and travel to it would be some European country or Asian country....I don't want to go to some other generic English speaking country like the US or the UK as the whole culture etc is pretty much the same. The whole reason for me traveling is to absorb new culture, not just variations of my own. I want to be forced to attempt to learn a new language to get around and at least clue on if the locals try ridicule me for trying lol

Same! For me it's more a matter of priority and how I can afford the travel and time off.

But I understand where Zombie's coming from. Some places unexpectedly become more of a priority for you based on your coming across information you'd not previously known.

For so long I attached Croatia with images of some desolate, war-torn region. But I recently saw pics eek...

I'd LOVE to see that! And I'm looking for a large print of that last photo for my living room wall.

ZombieKitten's laundry room, JustErin's pantry and Monigram's root cellar. These are a few places I would travel to see...
