What I do for a living doesn't really inform my identity. The blessing of being good at a lot of different things is...that you can do a lot of different things. The curse is that you're never sure if what you're doing is what you were meant to do.

Sometimes, I envy people who have a more focused sort of talent. But then, I think that if I were denied the chance to do something I felt I was "born" to do, I'd be miserable.

I can do any number of things and be happy.

My husband and my friend Karl seem to be able to do anything thrown at them, I know I never have to worry about them having or getting a job, they will always be OK, but on the other hand for them to be happy with "a job"? a whole other story they don't have a one-track passion like I do, I CAN'T do anything else, which makes things very easy for me in a way.

I have always been envious of people with a hobby that is an all-consuming passion, that is something I have always wanted for myself and never found. I would love a good excuse for spending time and moneay
A career that is a similar passion would be nice, but as soon as it involves being paid for it, suddenly the fun is taken out of it

I wanted to get into the legal field but I didn't want to be a lawyer. I ended up going to school to become a Paralegal. I went to night school for 3 years and received a certificate as a Paralegal and got an A.A. in Administration of Justice. I actually didn't use my certificate for over 5 years. I love what I do. Each day is totally different. My clients keep me on my toes.
