Am I wasting my time?

Every once once in a while over the last four or so years, a position I very interested in with a certain company become available. I have applied twice before and had a interview but wasn't hired. It's open again. Should I go for it, or get the message?

you might be wasting your time, of course, but to me a genuine interest in a position would be really attractive. Some people I've interviewed just want any job.

It the very least, you're keeping your resume/interview skills honed

The reasons for not getting in the past could be totally random & have nothing to do w/ you. Don't take it personally - if you want the job just apply for it & see what happens. The message you take away should be to "keep trying" smile
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart

if you really, really want the job then go for it.

However, if it comes available 3 times in a short timespan, you might want to investigate a little as to why that happens ? Do the people leave ? Why ? Do people get promoted ? Is that what you want ?

Sending a resume has never hurt someone, has it ?

Good Luck !

as long as you continue to have chances and as long as you have nothing better to do, keep on trying. how could it hurt? if nothing else, it's practice for interviewing.

Obviously they have a hard time keeping someone in that position and if you reapply if shows you have interest. Maybe your skills are better. Maybe the person reviewing your resume is different.

If you do get an interview, I'd definitely show your enthusiasm for the company.

It's like others have said, the reasons why you didn't get it before may have nothing to do with you, so this time maybe everything will align nicely for you.

Also, don't forget that YOU may have changed since last time - even if you don't know it. Maybe this time they will find you more confident, more this, more that...whatever "this" or "that" is that they are looking for.

Just a thought! wink
This is not an exit
