And the screening I saw -- at Outfest -- phew! the homos cheered for the Universal logo at the opening, I swear. A sing-a-long, riotously great time. My mom and I just went to see this movie today, and we both loved it! It's a very good movie to see, if you love musicals, and lots of singing and dancing (which I do). Very cute story, and the scenes (that were shot in Greece) are just gorgeous!!!!! It makes me want to go there on vacation, check it out for myself. Also, my mom and I said the same thing after the movie ended: "I never knew that Meryl Streep could sing!" This movie gets a big  from me.[Edited 7/18/08 17:35pm] RIP, mom. I went to see this on Friday, and I loved it....lots of singing,
dancing, and fun, and of course a story to boot...Meryl does a fantastic job ....and if you go for nothing other than the scenery, it's well worth it. An excellent movie I thought.... on this one.
As for children seeing this, I don't think it would be a problem. You may ending up having to answer a few questions, however lol But it's really very cute I thought. Now I'm all into Abba on youtube again | |
