Orgers I’ve met and that are special to me:

First on the Org I ever met was Herman () there are no words to describe how much I adore him and a few dutch orgers like:
Marion (HowComeYouDon’tCallMe) and Whateva (Anita) en Alfomelmak (Marcel), Aksel
Then there was Karen (Muse) I was overwhelmed by her kindness and warmth ...she took care of me and opened her house for me...I learned so much from her (and still do)
She introduced me to so many people...Supa,( Richard) , theAudience (Neal), DiminutiveRocker (Barbara) , Madartista (Chris), Dex, FreeSpirit (Julie),Chico, ShySlantedEye (Jean), Miguel we spent a bed together in London , Ellie, John, Carrie, Janfriend (Raha), Karmatornado (Chris) Pej, Predominant (Steve)..I am surely forgetting some people..
Also met Eikonoklastes (Andy) and Red (Nicole), Charlotte (Zombiekitten) and Natisse , Alun...
Bananacologne...where is he?
Then I got to meet Mdiver..what can I say...a true friend and I will always love him..ofcourse Valory (sweet, sweet lady!!) I am so glad they are so happy together
Chris (deWrede) always patient and a good listener and lately discovered what a beautiful person Jurgen (dawntreader) is....will meet you soon again

All those people contributed in their own way for me to keep coming back to this site

Early days I was very anxious to keep you all at arms length I turned down talking to ace when he offered to call me, it creeped me out thinking of all these little talking avatars as REAL people!
Retina finally wore me down enough to give in and talk to him on the phone (I WAS SO NERVOUS!!! my heart was racing as I dialled his number) he definitely crossed the line into my real life. After him I let down my guard a bit and talked to quite a few people - not as hard or strange as I thought!
I met ocean and missmad first, and kylie texts me on my MOBILE PHONE so she is nearly a real live person to me
I met phil & val, marion, petra, retina & manki
I am planning to meet up with more when the opportunity presents itself, hopefully sextonseven next year and anyone else in NY that week
I would dearly love to meet NDRU he is sooooo nice, JustErin over a few drinks, I want to dance with TC and kiss Ivy. I want to take the photos when TB & JF get married

I've met many orgers in real life, and I can easily say that I have fond memories of all of them.

The ones that have really crossed over into real life are:

Hamsterhuey - I contacted him here directly some 5 years ago, I had 2 free tickets for a concert of The Strokes here in Amsterdam. Since most of my 'real' friends don't dig most of my musical taste, I decided to find someone here who would appreciate going to this show. Herman's appearance on this site has always been enjoyable to me, his mix of humor and true Dutch sarcasm combined with the fact that he is a true music-buff has always been appealing to me. We clash in many, many things due to our many differences (hey, the man is GHEY!!! ), yet we always seem to find our crossroads and those is true and quite enjoyable. I'm happy to call him my friend and we've been to many many concerts together!

Muse/Karen - I admit, before I met her I thought she was a freak from what I had seen of her on this crazy site. We never really interacted and I wasn't aware of the hidden essence that this crazy site really has. I had missed Karen in Amsterdam, I was not in town when she was here. After that, Herman told me about her, telling me that he was sure that we would get along very well. I finally met her at the London Invasion, some 2 years ago. Herman was right, Karen & I clicked immediately and we were almost inseperable during the whole weekend ( no assumptions, folks!). Her outrageous character and pure sweetness is mesmerizing. She's larger than life, and that's the way I like it! Later in 2006, I was on the phone with her, discussing my dilemma of what to do during my X-mas vacation, she mentioned coming to Cali.....what she didn't realize was that during our phone-conversation I had booked my flight to LA.... What followed was probably one of my best trips to the US! Karen proved to be really the genuine person I already thought she was. She has been a great great host to me and we share so many good times together, including 2 unforgettable nights in Vegas with Prince. Also, through her I was able to meet many many other orgers, including a.o. Madartista.....another great guy!
It's been more than 1.5 years since I've seen Karen, but we stay close in any way possible, but mostly through the org. That's one of the reasons for me why it is so hard (or, impossible) to leave this site..... I know that I will see Karen again in some space & time, and we'll be cool.....because that's what we are!!

Nick/Fauxie - Eventhough we've seen eachother only for one day, it has been unforgettable. It is just crazy to come to think of it: I travelled to the other side of the world, Bangkok, stepped off the plane and next day I was strolling that great city with Nick and his lovely wife Mon. This one of the things the org can do for you!!! Believe me it is fun!
Nick is exactly what you expect him to be: cool, very nice and wellspoken, extremely funny! I am looking forward to seeing him again!

High on my list:

[b]ocean/Kylie: over the last 6 months or so, Kylie has proven to me to be a great great, great friend. Extremely funny and very caring! We orgnote when we can and I know she's there if I should need her to be for whatever reason. She is probably my number 1 on my 'wanna meet'-list! And I know for sure, one day we will meet!

Yes, I kinda loathed him during his Joeycoco-days, but recently I find him to be extremely funny and wellspoken in his posts....I believe 'extreme' is a word to decribe hime, but not in a stupid way! We're both kinda shocked at realizing this, but to me this is true! He lives in rotten Rotterdam ( ), not too far away....maybe someday! ( dude, it's okay....you can go and bash me if you like!)
