Pop stars the rivals,travesty Did anyone else watch Pop Stars the Rivals tonight???
OMFG I about died of embarrassment,I dont usually watch these programs but the other halfs sister is staying over, anyway ... The show opened to all the boys standing behind instruments "singing" and "playing" to 1999

Those kinda shows are total crap.
The only bits worth watching are the first couple of shows where they're auditioning all the weirdos and people who just can't sing for shit...Now that's funny. | |

Yes, they are truly shit. But these shows aren't designed for people with any kind of interest in music. They are for those who see pop like a trip to the cinema, they want something pleasing and simple to the ear, middle of the road and manufactured.
Anyone with the remotest idea of what music is supposed to be about wouldn't give the time of day to a Gareth Gates/ Will Young piece of shit record. I think this programme should be used as punishment in prisos... ----------------------------------------- | |
