I'm seeing quite a bit of hate here for beards. sad I used to do the whole really neat goatee thing but lately I prefer the full beard, just trimmed quite often and maintained a bit.

I can pull it off, right? Look, badass, but deep and sensitive too. nod

Slight revision to my facial hair policy: Fauxie is the sole exception and can pull off just about any look, anytime. nod

A good trimmer is worth its weight in gold, in my opinion. My facial hair, though, grows really straight. So, I have to wait a while for it to start curling, before I can trim it. Else I wind up with spikey stubble. It's kind of neat growing it all out, though. Except, nowadays, I'm finding a lot of grays in the mix...

Grays, I said!!!! omfg

A convert! woot! Score one for the beardies. Think I might start knocking on doors offering to show people my beard.

Thanks. hug

I prefer a baby face or maybe a little goatee. I'm not a big fan of the beard but as long as he doesn't look like a member of ZZ Top or the Oak Ridge Boys or any random lumberjack, it's all good.

Tremolina

I usually keep a two to three days old, scruffy beard. Then I normally shave because I can't stand it when it gets much longer. It starts to itch a lot then.
Most women think it looks sexy when it's scruffy, but others prefer it 'clean' shaven. I don't really care, I wear it how I want it. biggrin
