Ladies: have you ever powdered your nose??

This is not a euphemism.

Do women still do this? Have you ever? If so, do you, like, buy special nose-powdering powder and a buff, or somethin'? confused

I used to carry my powder compact around in my purse for touch ups but who wants to carry all that shit around? disbelief For the past few years I've been using blot papers - they don't get the makeup, just the oil residue. If I don't have any on me I'll use a paper towel, which lifts a little makeup with it but not enough to even notice or care about.

Sometimes I'll blot my eye makeup too nod

I Switch back and forth between blotting papers and the powder puff thingy. I think as a general rule I stick with blotting papers for normal day use. But if I know I'm going to be out at night somplace with some nice lighting, or at a get-together where I know some picture taking will be going on, I'll powder the t-zone a little bit during bathroom breaks so I don't look too crazy sexy

Of course!

That's the only coverage I wear on my face and just lightly on the T-zone. I can't stand the feeling of heavy crap on my face and I don't need it, just use it to take off a little shine in the morning and that's it.

You know, I used to use these in high school:

But, I couldn't find them for the longest time. I tried others and they just didn't work as well. I'm going to order some now that I've found them on a Web site. woot!

I think every (or mostly every) company makes their own now. Mine is a thin, bendable pack from Shiseido (sp?) that I've had forever, they don't take up too much space in a small purse smile

I know I'm not a woman. But when you say "POWDER", I think about Michelle Pfieffer from Scarface and Uma Thurman from Pulp Fiction. Great scenes from two great cult classics.

I went to Target today and was looking for blotting papers. They only had one package left, and am I glad I opened it to peek inside for some reason.

All the papers had been taken out, and someone stuffed a kitchen sponge into the box.

Nope. It won't mess up your make up.

That's why I love them.

You can get them anywhere. Mine are Neutrogena brand.
