I am Legend - 3 and 1/2 stars. El Cantante - 2 stars. Did you see it? It sucked! I only gave it two stars 'cause I liked the music and I'm a big fan of both Marc Anthony and Hector Lavoe. That movie was just all over the place. It was hard to follow [Edited 7/13/08 12:00pm]

In theaters:
Indy 4: 2 stars (Good, but not '20-years-of-waiting' good) The Love Guru: 1 star (I laughed once. Not Mikey's finest hour.) Gonzo: The Life and Times of Hunter S. Thompson: 3 stars (Great examination of the Doctor's life and work...though his '80s/'90s work was shamefully glossed over.) DVD: Dr. T and the Women: 2 stars (One of Altman's misses.) Funny Games: 3 stars (Discussed this in another thread already.) Cool Hand Luke: 4 stars (Finally saw this Newman classic. Amazing!)

Don't Mess with the Zohan - Garbage. 2 out of 5 stars
Get Smart - Cute. 3.5 out of 5 stars Indiana Jones and the... whatever the heck it was - Redundant garbage, except for Shia LeBoeuf (of whom I'm usually no great fan). 2.5 out of 5 stars. ...And not that anyone asked, but I also recently saw Prince Caspian. I had my doubts going in, because I thought the first Narnia flick was only fair, but Prince Caspian was actually a really enoyable flick! Easily 4 out of 5 stars. Out of 5
Hancock 3-1/2, I liked it for the nice guy angle than for the superhero or heroes, whatever Wanted 1-1/2 storyline really didn't hold my attention, but I watched it to the end so that gave it a little status. Wall-e 4 That was a nauseating adorable movie. I didn't think I was going to like it but I fell so hard, just a couple of sour notes I couldn't get my head around. Just saw I Am Legend, that was disturbing. [Edited 7/13/08 21:07pm]

Pregnancy is the biggest concern with unprotected sex, not STD's, especially the incurable ones 3. A jobless drug addict is a completely suitable father as long as he tries 4. Everything will work out in 9 months. You will fall in love and know the other person completely and be capable of raising the child made without love 5. Happily ever after

I didn't view it as advocating anything. The best message I got was the father got his shit together so he could be a good father to his kid.

Right, and when the child starts asking questions about the past or help with homework, he won't remember shit because of the dead brain cells Even though there are things in that movie that happen in real life, I don't think was a good idea to make it a comedy. They could have told the same story and made it a drama, like in "For Keeps"

1) High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story - It was okay. I wouldn't recommend it.
2) Things We Lost in the Fire - I really liked this movie. Probably not one of my favorites but worth seeing nonetheless. 3)Fight Club - A modern classic. However, I think I may have outgrown this movie.
