Anx and Endo have too, plus some silly cards that I've saved. Handclapsfingasnapz has sent me some wonderful gifts and adorable drawings, plus letters written in her inimitable handwriting which could be framed and hung up on a wall. Endorphin74 has opened his home to me and many other drunken Orgers. Brownsugar and Stymie showed me around Chicago and treated me very well, and gave me a place to stay in Minneapolis too. Muse2NOPharaoh, Anxiety, MinneapolisGenius, TheAudience and Madartista danced with me when nobody else would. Imago has said the sweetest fucking things to me, doing the near-impossible on more than one occasion: rendering me speechless. Shanti and MDiver have taken Chris and me out for drinks, laughs and great conversation, and have extended the invitation to open their home to us anytime. Shanti shared furniture and household items with us, as she was moving out of Florida when we were moving in together. She eased our transition and gave us somewhere to sit on our asses. GangstaFam, with his Prince geekery and guitar-gear knowledge, secured us a spot directly in front of Prince at the Tamar show in Feb '07. He also kept us safe from the Infamous Drunken Whale Tail. Mach has provided a lot of moral support and giggles. JerseyKRS changed my life and filled it with a love so complete, so total, so reciprocal, joyful, easy and fulfilling that I would not have believed it possible. That's pretty nice I guess. I've met so many wonderful friends here. This thread gave me chance to notice and appreciate that. Girl! You better get your ass over here and stay with us some time. I am so glad that the timing worked out the way that it did. I cannot think of anyone else I would have rather of given my stuff to then you guys. Thanks Erin for always being there for me. You are awesome! We're trying! We're going up to Boston because I'm maid of honor in my best-cousin's wedding (matron of honor now, I guess! That sounds so OLD!) and the whole trip for all six of us is going to cost around four grand. And thank you for all the support and validation you've given me in our sometimes very similar situations! The Normal Whores Club

Could be anything from listening to u vent, ringing u ...sending u something...saying yes to a marriage proposal I can't pick just one.... I have had althom send me a heap of music and make me laugh everytime I spoke to him. Phil - Has listened to my winge for hours on the phone Abeirman - Rings me on my birthday and valentines day or even when I said I was feeling down Byron - Drew a picture of my kids that would have taken so many hours to complete Natisse - Has taken me out to dinner for my birthday christopher- Has sent me heaps of great songs And Zombiekitten is going to shag me senseless which will by far be the NICEST thing! [Edited 7/6/08 19:26pm] is it normal that you can't spell the name of people that mean something to you ??? :disbeleif:

I think the nicest thing the org did for me was when I was victim to an arson fire two years ago and Mel!ssa (not sure what her org name was back then - maybe Tackam) suggested I register for things I lost (I didn't have renter's insurance because I was just coming off a job layoff).
Many folks here stepped up and sent me and my kitties things we needed. Some, including, Azure Star, A2grafix and Snakepeel, offered to come to the house to move things out. As the boxes kept arriving at my mom's house (which was where I was staying at the time) my family and I were just blown away by the love and generosity of friends here. Everytime I look around my apartment I see how you all have changed my life and I am forever grateful to all of you. Thank you. That being said, there are a few others here who are so very special to me - including you, Ace , but I know I don't need to mention their names for them to know.

Everso : she was there when my SS failed to deliver. Allthough she tortured my skull, I love her for that. And for the sweet, funny, sexy interactions I shared with her.
DanceWme : Funny fact = she shares her first name with Everso. She's one of the funniest ladies to be found here and a sweet soul to boot. I reach my telescopic di.. arms over the ocean to slap her on the butt. She listens, she cares and she cheers me up. What do I need more. Veronikka : Great laughs, she's one of the orgers I'd sit on a terrace with and just chat and laugh all afternoon until the sun goes down. @ her obsession I'll keep it to three, there's more people that have done special things and they know who they are.
