I was checking my bank account online a few weeks ago, and noticed a bunch of "Oversees Transaction Fees" on it. Seeing as how I haven't really left San Bernardino in a few months, I figured that it probably was not me that was oversees using my card. I'm good at figuring stuff like that out. ...

So I kept checking my statement to see if any other charges looked out of the ordinary. Sure enough, I saw a few charges on there that I didn't remember making. So, I looked up the info and saw that the first charge was to an online credit card processing company. I went to their site and clicked on a link that's supposed to take you to any accounts or charges you've made through them. It asked for my CC number as well as my email account, so I entered both...it came back saying they couldn't find any charges made under that info. So I tried all of my email accounts, personal and business...figured maybe I just spaced buying something. Still no luck.

So I called the place up, and told them I had a charge on my card that I didn't remember making. The guy asked for the same info and I gave him the same info, to which he couldn't find any charges. Then he asked me for my gmail account name. Ok, the only gmail account I have is one I started up like 4 years ago that I used twice lol. I told him that, and he told me the email account name that was associated with my CC number. Never heard of it, I told him.

So I told him that whatever the charge is for, I need it removed because I did not make it. The guy said "Ok, so you want us to cancel your membership to dicklady.com, sir?"...



I said "Excuse me?" lol...He repeated the info as if he was talking about paper towels. I laughed and said "Yes!...I didn't make that charge." He said ok, put in for the charges to be reversed, and said he'd keep that card number from being used again through their company. Cool, I thanked him and hung up.

Then I checked out the next charge on my bank statement...

Went thru the process once more, and that phone call ended with "So we'll be cancelling your account for shemales.com?"..



Yes, I said, cancel it because I never authorized that charge.

Long story short, I ended up finding over $500 worth of unauthorized charges to my bank card, ALL of them to porn sites specializing in multi-gendered individuals performing public fornication. I spent 10 hours spaced over two days tracking them all down and calling both my bank and the credit card processing companies to have them removed. Then I took the gmail account name that the first place mentioned to me, and did a Google search. I got two hits, both oversees (one in Sydney, one from somewhere that I can't recognize the language), and both used in connection to selling stuff (a motorcycle for one site and computer hardware for the other). I turned the name and phone number associated with the gmail account over to the bank....

This is the first time I've ever had anyone steal my cc # and personal info...it pissed me off something fierce. ...And those dick laidies weren't even all that.

This ever happen to anyone else?

That is very very suspicious that the site you investigated asked for that info (credit card number-this is never asked for unless a charge is going to be made, or gmail account info, etc), the only info they would normally need is your login name and password for their site.

I would change all the info you just gave out, cancel the card, etc.

I'd have no idea of knowing either the subscription number or ID name, so email address was the only one I could answer.

And I already closed down that card and changed all my passwords associated with my account...got a new card as well. What a complete pain in the ass, though.
