My everyday purse is huge, so I have a bunch of stuff in it. I have a couple of cds, my wallet, my checkbook, my cellphone that no longer works ( ), keys, the detachable face to my car stereo, sunblock, a couple of lipsticks, lip balm, a mirror, an umbrella, a million receipts, sunglasses, my reading glasses, gum, and a pedometer

I prefer to travel light...

My bigger bag is getting repaired right now, so at the moment I am carrying my other bag that is not so roomy.

When I go out at night I use cute, little purses and I generally only carry my ID, checkcard, cash, lighter, cigarettes, phone, keys and lipstick. You'd be surprised how small of a purse I can stuff all of that into.

Everything but the kitchen sink..lol

i carry a small sling bag... no room for extraneous stuff!
it is pretty awesome though... zippered pocket here, zippered pocket there...
and lots of spots for your plastic. so all i carry around are:
- emergency tampon
- emergency panty liner
- personal identification
- bank cards and the like
- bunch o' receipts
- keys
- recent acquisition travel size tylenol
- maybe a half pack of dentyne ice
- neutrogena lip balm

oh, I actually don't really. This was something a friend gave me. I burned incense, said some words, focused my energy on it and now I'm carrying a little charm around. In general it's not something I follow, but I find it interesting nonetheless. And it can't hurt!
