more questions:
How much editing can you do to a playlist once it's on your ipod? I'm very sure that I was able to change some playlist names but only changed one or 2 things and don't remember in order to verify. Can anyone confirm that you can change the text of playlist or song titles while they are on your ipod? Also, can you add a song to a playlist that is already on your ipod. For example, I wanted to add a b-side to a mix I uploaded. Can I do that or do I have to create a whole new playlist? Another question:
When I launch the itunes, it says I need the updated itunes and won't recognize my ipod. I can't dl the new itunes on the computer I'm on right now but I can create playlists and convert tracks to upload to the ipod. Here is my question. When I create a playlist, it saves it in the itunes playlist dropdown and it is connected to my C drive. Can I save the playlist to my external harddrive for saving to my ipod on another computer? I convert the songs in itunes and then I copy the songs and save them to a folder on my external harddrive. They are .m4a files and I double clicked one and it played on my computer using quicktime. I think all I have to do now is get to the computer where Itunes recognizes my ipod and then just transfer from my external drive to my ipod. Once you put the songs on your ipod, can you pull them off and save to your harddrive????
