Well one thing that I won't be getting is any sleep 'cuz the urbanites around here are blowin' up the skies with the illegal works. . .

. . .other than that. . .hubby and I are grilling tomorrow with the family and then on Saturday we're going to a summer martini party at a good friend's new house.

I am doing a little work--teaching two students and then cleaning my bathroom.

I had planned on a relaxing day of laying out in Central Park tomorrow, but my friend called this afternoon and has an extra ticket to the Yankees/Red Sox game. Even though I'm not into baseball (and dislike both teams), I'm going 'cause it's Yankees/Red Sox!

Friday night: going to hear Days of Wild play
Saturday morning: sleep in
Saturday afternoon/night: drinking at my friend's then maybe hit PS1 Summer Warm-up
Sunday: going to see the Murakami exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum of Art

I will avoid the fireworks because I don't like crap like that. Fireworks do very little for me.

Took the boys to the park this morning, it was fun! Caught up with a few other women I know there.
Tonight is my father in-law's birthday party

might hang out with a friend, i haven't decided yet. otherwise cooking, fireworks in town, etc.

I don't give a crap that it's July 4th but tonight I am going out with some friends to get hammered and act stupid.

Huge party this eve ( 200 ppl) then right before dark off to camp in the woods all weekend with a bunch of different people - live music, fireworks all that jazz

Nah... I'm more interested in teaching, research, writing and interfaith dialogue. That would be my "ministry" in effect.

I don't believe I'm appropriately gifted to preside over a church. I suspect that'd be Threadbare.
