my previous guilty pleasure show was 'seventh heaven' but i mainly watched it to make fun of the mom character, who i thought was a grinch-faced harpy. i loved watching her scowl at her children every episode. and jessica biel (is that the one? i confuse her with the boobiewoman from FF) reminds me of tarzan.

Me too. It's always on VH1 and I can't not watch it. nuts I've probably seen every episode 5 or more times. It's crazy. confused

I'm not embarrassed about anything I watch. That said, I think these are the sorts of things you have in mind:

Big Brother
America's Next Top Model
Celebrity Apprentice
Gene Simmons Family Jewels

P.S. If I can get all anal-retentive, where the fuck is the apostrophe after "Simmons"? confused

One of the funniest shows I've ever seen!

i am SO waiting for an 'intervention' dvd box set...though i want an episode guest hosted by martha stewart. i think it's possible to stage an intervention with a festive rustic theme, with clever intervention-themed appetizers and a variety of (non-alcoholic!) refreshments. nod

You know, those stupider that stupid MTV dating shows.

I also used to watch MTV's Undresses faithfully. That show used to crack me up!

Next time you're up late at night, turn on MTV. Parental Controls or the Ex Effect will probably be on. You won't like the Ex Effect at all but you might find Parental Controls interesting. Next is usually on in the afternoon and Undressed is no longer on the air. You can watch it at UndressedTV.com if you're really interested in it.

then you shouldn't have a TV. There's no point to having cable if you can't watch all the guilty pleasure shows on E!, MTV, and VH-1.

And then there' TLC's What Not To Wear. I don't classify this as trashy TV since it's educational. nod

I've had "real" cable before. But found myself pretty consistently dissatisfied with its offerings. I mean, I got public TV, C-SPAN 1 and 2, and ESPN. I check news websites more than I watch their channels. I'm set. woot!

Besides, too much MTV will melt one's brain. Next thing you know, I'll be jamming to Soldier Boy. And, who knows where that might lead.

I watch nearly exclusively retro t.v. I'm a television on DVD boxset kind of gal. Most of it is classic quality...however...

I LOVE CHARLES IN CHARGE.

Am I a bad person? Lol.
