They used to call the internets the "informational superhighway" (though I haven't heard that for a while).

It's pretty appropriate, lots of people, things move very fast, some people are aggressive, some are meek, some are hot. There are even dangers lurking, and lots sexy ads along the way.

And just like the freeway, I think the internet gives me rage I think the "unnatural nature" of the freeway (most notably the high speed) causes latent anxiety which comes out as road rage. The internet does the same thing though an intense level of interaction that couldn't really occur in normal life.

Do you find yourself overreacting to certain topics, either out loud or in your mind?

I try to control myself, generally. But I notice that just like I might not let that guy who tailgated me get in front of me, I might not let a little argument go. I might go back & forth "no, Amy Winehouse IS good!!"
