There has been a lot of talk over the last few months about FINALLY bringing a R rating for our gaming market here in Australia (Can you believe we don't have one!?) and after reading that one of my most anticipated games of the year could possibly be banned for because of this (read link below) I've had enough so I urge you all to help us Aussies out to get this!

Yeah I will most likely do that if it does end out getting the ban, although if you note (even tho its only IGN covering their ass) there is a chance you could get "busted" ordering it from overseas....which really won't happen

Well, in Lord of the Rings Online, I get to smoke weed (or at least the hobbit version of it), and also drink so much that I get blitzed and pass out only to wake up in a random spot somewhere in Middle Earth like inside a bedroom of a lady in Bree who owns 50 or so cats.

And this game isn't banned.

I'd agree to a rating system, but banning games because of it's rating seems a bit harsh unless it's wayyyyy off the mark. I wouldn't stick this game in that category.

lol thanks for the offer but I will get it in some way, shape or form. What I find a complete contradiction is that they release the first 2 Fallout games which have these same drugs in them and they get an M rating! Not an MA rating!...perhaps thats because drugs weren't as big of a problem ten years ago but even still they were around and just as bad!

The only reason we don't have an R rating for games here in Oz is because ONE person is against it, and all this crap about kids getting access to it is a load of crap. What kind of good parent would go out and let their kid go to an R rated movie? or watch an R rated TV show? Its the same thing with games. And if kids did get their hands on it then there needs to somehow be harsher laws for parents getting kids these things.
