In the movies… (and snakes that come into cities during droughts) The action hero's face is usually covered in grazes, open woulnds, dirt, grease and/or the enemy's viscera, and the heroine (who has only known him for less than 24 hours) always kisses him passionately at the end of the movie.
WHY!?!?!? [Edited 7/1/08 21:40pm]

why do they always leave the door open in the movies, or the tap running, or they stand in front of the fridge letting all the cold air out while they have a conversation

Actors aren't that coordinated They can only do one thing at a time. Closing a door, turning off a tap and all that would require them to do more than one thing at a time. Do you think they are getting paid millions of dollars to do more than one thing But seriously imagine all the takes they do of that stuff, think of all the water or resources going to waste! While we in Australia are having one of the biggest droughts ever! Receiving transmission from David Bowie's nipple antenna. this has some info about them!
http://www.ecocentre.com/...ember.html "All snakes would prefer to avoid humans and snake bites are rare. When snakes are seen they are usually gliding silently away into the undergrowth. If we look at them without fear we find them to be elegant graceful animals and the larger ones help us to control mice and rats. The presence of snakes in the environment indicates a healthy ecosystem, rich enough to support these beautiful predators."

Snakes are awesome But yeah they are very rare to see..unless you go to a zoo or something. Also about 70% of the snakes you would see are harmless so theres no need to worry. Sure we have most of the most deadly snakes in the world here but they mainly stay out in the bush.
Hell a while back I went on a 14 day camp and I was half expecting to run into a few snakes. At one point we were walking along and just as I was about to put my foot down I saw something scalely on the ground and froze up...only to look closer and it was just a lizard As long as snakes don't get on my mother fuckin planes I will be happy (it had to be said ) [Edited 7/1/08 21:40pm] Receiving transmission from David Bowie's nipple antenna. They keep their grass very short around the house. You can take precautions, like walking in a noisy way and talking loudly

But back on topic, on soap operas, during a serious conversation, the woman will walk past the man and stand in front of him with her back to him. When has anyone ever had a conversation with their back turned to the person they're talking to? My Legacy

I like the episode of Entourage when Drama is shooting his show and the director tells him he wants him to do his monologue while walking and he freaks out its so true tho...I would hate to see Tom Cruise being told to do multiple things without a stand in helping him Receiving transmission from David Bowie's nipple antenna. is that on free to air? or only on Foxtel?

I don't think its on free to air....I've got the DVDs of it But I know its on Arena on Foxtel. If it were on free to air it would be on late at night as its not a kid friendly show at all. Very good show tho i recommend it Receiving transmission from David Bowie's nipple antenna. Do you read me Lieutenant Bowie, I said do you read me...Lieutenant Bowie

I might look out for it at the video shop. Have you watched UnderBelly? I got that series on DVD, but I'm not sure it's my cup of tea

Yeah I liked Underbelly, although the ending could have been a bit more dramatic. Entourage is good fun tho but it can be a bit confronting as theres lot of swearing, lots of women portrayed at objects. But its a good fun spin of the life of a celebrity Receiving transmission from David Bowie's nipple antenna. Do you read me Lieutenant Bowie, I said do you read me...Lieutenant Bowie

speaking of women portrayed as objects, I saw Baby Snakes last night Roy Estrada and the blow up lady totally non-PC I will watch Underbelly if you think it is good, I will blame you if it's crap

Wait a minute aren't you in Melbourne or somewhere in Victoria? if so naughty you getting Underbelly Theres a big sticker on it saying "Not to be sold in Victoria" because of the trial still going on...assuming it still is going on...i wouldn't have a clue anymore. If your not and I'm thinking of someone else watch it anyway.
It can be a bit confronting at times if your not really in the knowhow of the "underbelly" of the crime world, or just how top dog drug dealers/gangs really do "business" But I think all the actors were cast very well, although throughout the whole thing I wanted the main cop guy to die...bloody pigs are way too nosy (and I've got 3 in the family ) Receiving transmission from David Bowie's nipple antenna.
