most people look better underweight than over shrug

it suits everyone well, as an adult you only need to eat for maintenance.

I agree...particularly in the face because as we age our faces become more hollow looking even without being stick thin.

nod Just look at Madonna. I think she'd look better with at least 10 lbs on her body and it would do wonders for her face.

A good example would be Angelina Jolie...her face looks waaaay better - and younger when she is pregnant.

I saw "Wanted" last weekend and I was thinking the same thing. She looked so drawn and wrinkled.

Compared to here:

She's so beautiful!

Jennifer Aniston looked way better in the first years of friends, too.

I wouldn't say it's true for everyone, though. Kirtsie Alley's face doesn't look better with weight, Elvis, Luther Vandross...

I don't disagree with the sentiment, but I actually think her face looks prettier in the top pic, probably because of makeup.

Also those wrinkles aren't because she's skinny in that pic!

I'm not a big fan of Posh, but I don't totally understand the hatred of the skinny thing. She is very skinny, yes, but she doesn't look unhealthy by any stretch. Considering who she's with, I'm thinking she's incredibly healthy.

And vogue? the women in the magazine are even skinnier! lol

She does look unhealthy because we've all seen what she looks like at a healthy weight.

And no...models are not skinnier than she is. lol

It's just a matter of taste. I'll never understand the fascination for women built like ironing boards. No curves, nothing...yuck!

purplesweat

She's pretty much the only person who looks like the vainest, shallowest, most boring human ever yet is actually one of the warmest, kindest, funniest celebs ever.

Her interviews are a delight, it's such a shame people judge her on her looks, altho it's hard to blame them.

And did ANYONE believe back in the day, she'd turn out to be the most powerful, influential Spice girl out of all of them?
