Yesterday in the car, "Kiss" by Prince came on the radio.

First my oldest daughter spurts out "What the hell is this crap?"

Then my middle daughter says "Now I've got a headache!"

And without missing a beat my youngest shoves the knife all the way into my heart by saying "Is this Michael Jackson?" mad

My oldest likes to listen to Reggaeton and some hip hop so I am always teasing her "What the hell is this crap....this music is giving me a headache....etc." Then I find out she has some Michael Jackson songs on her Ipod and I asked her how many Prince songs she has.....zero mad.

So for some reason they all just turned on me yesterday and let me have it....ungrateful little..... lol

ouch lol

my 8 year old son always LOVED "Kiss" and quite a few other Prince jams, mainly from the Greatest Hits CD... he also digs lots of Michael Jackson & Jacksons...

whenever he hears a jam he likes on my car stereo, he wants it on his iPod or to burn him another mix CD...

those were the latest additions:

Stevie Wonder - I Wish
Steely Dan - Peg
Bar Kays - Holy Ghost
Chic - Just out of Reach
Herbie Hancock - Rockit
Brand New Heavies - Never Stop
Sly Stone - Loose booty
Bill Withers - ALl Because Of You
Sister Sledge - He's the greatest dancer
Public Enemy - Can't truss it
Robin Thicke - Brand New Jones
Rickie lee Jones - Chuck E's in Love
Joe Tex - Looes Caboose
Brand Nubian - Try To Do Me
Schoolly D - Am I Black Enough For Ya
Del Tha Funkee Homosapien - Mistadobalina
Roxanne Shante - Feelin' Kinda Horny
Cameo - Talking out the side of your neck
Jackson 5 - I Want You Back
Chaka Khan - You Got The Love
Roger Troutman - I heard It Through The Grapevine
Fatback - Is This The Future
Slug-Go - Gogo Strut
Stevie Wonder - Sir Duke (his absolute favourite right now, also happens to be my handy ringtone...)
Prince - Chelsea Rodgers
Chicago - 25 or 6 to 4
Parliament - Do That Stuff
Gap Band - Shake
Zapp - Do Wah Ditty (Blow that Thing)
LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out
Bootsy Collins - Off Da Hook
Funkadelic - Loose Booty
Kool & The Gang - Big Fun
Monie Love - Full Term Love
NWA - Alwayz Into Something
Run DMC - It's Tricky
Clash - Rock The Casbah
Queen - Don' Stop Me Now
TLC - Ain't to proud to beg
Prince - Get on the Boat
Sugarhill Gang - Kick it live from 9 to 5
Earth Wind & Fire - Got to get you into my life
Brothers Johnson - Ain't we funkin now
Beastie Boys - Shake your rump
Donald Fagen - Walk between raindrops

can't complain really... for an 8 year old European middle class white boy that's pretty much OK I guess lol
