My Daughters turned against me

Yesterday in the car, "Kiss" by Prince came on the radio.

First my oldest daughter spurts out "What the hell is this crap?"

Then my middle daughter says "Now I've got a headache!"

And without missing a beat my youngest shoves the knife all the way into my heart by saying "Is this Michael Jackson?" mad

My oldest likes to listen to Reggaeton and some hip hop so I am always teasing her "What the hell is this crap....this music is giving me a headache....etc." Then I find out she has some Michael Jackson songs on her Ipod and I asked her how many Prince songs she has.....zero mad.

So for some reason they all just turned on me yesterday and let me have it....ungrateful little..... lol

home to visit, she wants to "copy" my CDs....and not only Prince lol

And to think I took my oldest to two Musicology shows...row 8 for the first show and row 3 for the second. It took me 24 damn years to get seats that close at a Prince concert and she gets them the first two shows she goes to....and then this.

Where did I go wrong sad

lol

Actually they do like Prince music, they just saw I had a busy day, they sensed I was vulnerable and attacked like a pack of wolves falloff

comfort I feel ya. My daughter takes pleasure in blasting Lil Wayne anytime she wants to irritate me. For those who remember what Lil Wayne said about Prince, I told her she laughed. Of course when I'm looking for a particular Prince CD 50% of the time it's amoung her things.

At least it is EWF and not something like a 50 cent song or something.

Any my daughters like "September" by EWF a lot. I think it is in some kids movie they saw.

Yeah, my dad used to that to me. I would always wanna listen to Hot 97 and he'd pop in a cassette of some 70s salsas or merengues or bachatas. I would be all "Turn it off, PAAAAA ill shake barf", but now that I'm an adult, it's just about all I listen to lol I think that kids just like to give their parents a hard time lol

Yes, this had nothing to do with Prince neutral I discovered him on my own. My parents didn't even know who he was until I started listening to him. They don't like Prince, btw giggle
