My classmates make fun of me because of the way I speak. They think "zee" is absolutely ridiculous. Funny, because I'd been taught that English speakers beyond the States use "zed," but I'd never ever heard it -- I don't think I quite believed it on some level. When I heard one of my Canadian friends mention "everything from A to zed" it was like seeing a unicorn! omg

I've picked up a few Canadian linguistic quirks since I've been here, but "zed" is absolutely not one of them. That's crazy! How in the heck does one sing the Alphabet Song properly using... "zed?" confusegiggle

Yeah, "zed" at the end of the alphabet song sounds terrible.

Probably because zed is name. It like saying "Y and Jeremy" at the end of the alphabet song.
