Wham Bam, thank you ma'am..

you really made my day..

Are you wham bam or careful and thorough when it comes to ..ermm.. stuff..

Like putting up shelves:
do you put up straight away or lay out all tools, screws, read instructions, plan, before you even start?

Or Cooking:
Do you throw everything together or weigh each ingerdient out and plan carefully?

Does this apply to your day to day life/relationships/sex/money etc etc?

Is there a pattern?

i like to feel a sense of order to what i am doing, sure.

i have the most fun cooking when the kitchen is clean and i have everything laid out and ready, and when i am able to wash dishes as i go. maybe that's a little OCD, but to hell with it. shrug

same with home improvement crap. i want everything laid out and easy to find, easy set-up and easy clean-up.

i'm not a chaotic, by-the-seat-of-my-pants kind of guy. maybe i compensate for that in other parts of my life where i let myself be more chaotic. i'm not sure what those other parts of my life may be, though. lol

Careful and thorough.

Sometimes I am more careless. I don't know. That usually happens during more intimate moments. giggle

For me it's a mix and match...

For things I know I can do well like cooking, I don't put a lot of thought into it and just do it. If it's more complicated, I like to have all my ducks in a row before embarking on things... even getting information from other places before I do it. I think it's the things I think I can do by looking at them but really are complex, like setting a clock radio that really gets my goat.

i think that's why i like taking improv classes. it's a chance to just jump in the middle of a circle and act a fool. the more you prepare and "try" to be funny, the more you fail.

Careful and thorough for sure. I like to have my ingredients all ready to go because if I don't, sure as shit, I'll forget something. Then I'll have a mini coronary right there in my kitchen. As for hanging shelves and pictures, I don't ever do it. I have my step dad do it. I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to that kind of shit. If it's crooked, that will be all I ever notice until it's fixed. If I hung it, it would be crooked regardless of if I had the proper tools or the proper instructions.

I am not one set way.

I like measuring ingredients before i start cooking and having them all perfect in ramekins like the cooking shows, but sometimes I make a huge mess and throw stuff in a pot at random.

Generally I'm pretty messy, though.
