I've always fantasized about dating an older man. I never had the opportunity. I would do it. Only to a certain point though. Probably at this point 10-15 years older would be my limit. I wouldn't be completely set on that though because you never know about love. Sometimes it has a mind of it's own.

I've never really thought about dating a younger guy. hmmm He would have to be very mature and responsible for me to go for it.

ive gone on dates with a guy who was 12 years older than me... most guys i date are older than me anyway.. i have a rule, .. i will not date anything under 25, that's entirely too young.... the young ones always question me too asking 'why wont you date younger?' .. i just tell them.. 'no' .. the young ones are comical with their pick up lines though lol

when i was 24, i dated someone who was 39.

and when i was 30, i MIGHT have dated someone who was 19. redface

to be honest, the whole age thing was more of an annoyance than a turn-on, in both situations. i don't like dating outside of my generation. i want people to know my pop-culture references and i like having the same very basic life experiences in common. i don't need to know what it was like in the old timey days or what's hip with the kids these days, at least not during sexy times.

A girl I've been seeing for some time now is 13 years younger than me. Neither one of us even acknowledges the age difference. I just think that things like that are so unimportant.

someone here mentioned the "half your age plus 7 years" rule
and i think it works pretty much in any scenario.
of course, if you are dating older then use his age to figure it out lol.

36/2=18+7=25

56/2=28+7=35

so using that formula my age range would be 25 on the low end of the scale
and 56 on the high end. (a 21 year gap.) although personally i think i would
stick more to 30 to 45 confused

I was dating someone much younger... but everyone thought she was older and I was younger...

and on a knowledge and lifestyle level, she was years ahead of others her age.

but, young people do go through big changes in their 20's... no matter how in tune they seem with you. Makes a long term thing very risky.
