Hall of Famer, but not on Kareem's level. Which is actually the one thing that ate at me the most. When Shaq called out Cap, he lost me, because he ain't even in Cap's league. As good as he might have been, he wasn't Jabbar. One could make a plausible (but not necessarily winning) argument that Jabbar was the most dominant player of the last 40 years, and a very strong argument that he is the greatest player to ever wear the Laker uni. Can anyone make the same case for Shaq? Nope. So I'm with you here. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Maybe, maybe not. He's the one that feels the need to join the sheriff or police department everywhere he goes. So obviously it IS important to him to be involved with law enforcement. I mean, what multi-millionaire celebrity wants to be deputized and actively on duty. I've always thought that was of him but hey whatever floats his boat and keeps him out the strip clubs is a good thing. SCNDLS one thing I can say about u, u tell it like it is This is one time I think Shaq really wish he had kept his fat ass mouth shut. It's not what u say, it's how u say it. Shaq was hoping the Lakers lose so he could do just what he did, make a fucking fool of him self. I think this will hurt him in a lot of ways, and having 2 give up his badge is only the start whether some think he doesn’t care or not. Believe me that fat ass fool cares. He will see who gets the last laugh and he consider himself a role model

Kobe broke the Man Code. Not approving of Shaq's behavior, but it was none of Kobe's business.

Again, that happened FIVE years ago, Shaq addressed it then, but did he deny it??? (Kobe told the truth, I personally know of TWO baby mamas Shaq has in Texas and he paid 'em off. Those kids are oddly left out of the SIX kids he's attributed to having. ) So, why is Shaq mentioning it in conjunction with being in divorce court when they filed last year? I'm just saying it was a punk move to even bring that shit up now when it doens't have anything to do with the price of tea in China. [Edited 6/25/08 10:36am]

Check out his books on black war heroes & black athletes - awesome stuff. Kareem - 3-time NCAA champion, 6-time NBA champion, all-time leader in points(if I'm not mistaken), league MVP, finals, MVP, etc., etc., etc. Not that many players have had a better NBA career(even Magic & Larry Legend). Plus Kareem had the most devastating weapon in NBA history - that sky hook was unstoppable, and beautiful to watch. I don't hate Shaq, but IMO, Kareem(and Hakeem Olajuwon) were better all-around centers. My Top 10 NBA Greatest: Wilt Chamberlain MichaelJordan Bill Russell Oscar Robertson Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Magic Johnson Larry Bird Hakeem Olajuwon Elgin Baylor Moses Malone
