No. What piece of art are you most proud of? Where would you say your creativity came from? If you could change eight things about Avril Lavigne, what would they be?

why are you on cloud 9? a) so far, the summer is pretty cool... i have yet to find a job but i'm not suffering... summer school is still on but it's something to do... b) i'm on cloud 9 right now because i've just experienced the butterflies in my stomach awakening for the first time in a long time... see... there's this boy.... If you could change eight things about Avril Lavigne, what would they be? a) my second most recent piece, it was a series of four paintings under the major title "New Growth" ... feel free to take a look at them on the link in my signature.... i'll explain more later if interested. b) i have no freaking clue where it came from... i'm not the only artist of the family, all my siblings were incredibly talented (there are 6 of us) in the arts... trouble is, that was when they were much younger, teenagers, so after years of not keeping it up they've all lost it... no encouragement from the parents... but i kept to it i still don't know where it came from - i'm the freest spirit in my family - so maybe it's something born in me? c)i'd shoot her eight times. So beyond just what the title suggests, woss it all about? it's pretty much a cathartic way of re-establishing a relationship with my hair... since i've become "locked" i've really learned to appreciate the beauty i possess, and become to notice my true self and all of that and i feel the physical journey and process my hair went through is telling of that so i've created an autobiography of my hair natural straight braided locked each piece is created with plaster with items that reminded me of my hair at the time.. natural: i used to hate my natural napps and thought it felt like steel wool, so i used a steel wool pad to create the patterns of tightly curled hair straight: when my hair was chemically straightened all i used were combs to make sure the tangles were kept to a minimum...so i combed through the plaster with an old comb of mine... braided: hands were useful for my braids, so i used my fingers to create the pattern locked: my sister helped me to see the process of locking first-hand, and hers grow often enough that she trims them...so as a mini tribute i used her hair (those larger chunks) and created impressions with them in the plaster... and that's pretty much it, glad you enjoy my street manifestos [Edited 6/22/08 20:24pm] [...i think i can, i think i can, i think i can...]
