Cell Phone Memory card - HELP! I just bought a sandisk 2G memory card for my new cellphone, MOTOKRZR, and I want to put some music on the card and the directions state the following:
Insert your microSD card and adapter into your computer's USB Card Reader. Open Windows Explorer and find the new drive corresponding to your microSD card. Create a music folder on the microDS card. Copy all of your musc and audio files to the folder. OK, is the slot where you plug in a USB cord the same as the USB card reader or is this a different slot on the computer? I can't see where the card will fit, or either of the 2 adapters. Anyone have a clue how I can get my music on the disc? 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

What does the card look like?
Is there a cord required to hook it up to a regular USB port, perhaps? Oh shit, my hat done fell off

Is there a cord required to hook it up to a regular USB port, perhaps? the card is super tiny. There are 2 adapters in case the port of your phone is bigger than the tiny card. It came with no usb cord 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Check out these card readers. You've probably got to have something like these. You just bought a card by itself?
http://en.wikipedia.org/w...ard_reader Do you think that's what they're referring to by the term 'adapter'? Oh shit, my hat done fell off

and the thoughts.....always! Good luck! I've actually held out all this time too. Bought the 160GB (or whatever was biggest) iPod last year and took it back within a week because I get anxious when I spend money on stuff like that. But I'll be damned if it's DIFFICULT living without an mp3 player. Oh shit, my hat done fell off

If you have a 3-in-1 or 5-in-1 card reader on your computer, you don't need the usb

if you have to buy a reader, you better shell out a little more (but they're still cheap) for a multi-reader that allows you to read different memory cards (SD,microSD, memorystick, ...)

Whatever you do wind up buying you'll soon come to realize that this was money well spent... A working class Hero is something to be ~ Lennon |
