I just bought a sandisk 2G memory card for my new cellphone, MOTOKRZR, and I want to put some music on the card and the directions state the following:

Insert your microSD card and adapter into your computer's USB Card Reader. Open Windows Explorer and find the new drive corresponding to your microSD card. Create a music folder on the microDS card. Copy all of your musc and audio files to the folder.

OK, is the slot where you plug in a USB cord the same as the USB card reader or is this a different slot on the computer? I can't see where the card will fit, or either of the 2 adapters.

Anyone have a clue how I can get my music on the disc?

What does the card look like?

Is there a cord required to hook it up to a regular USB port, perhaps?

Good luck! I've actually held out all this time too. Bought the 160GB (or whatever was biggest) iPod last year and took it back within a week because I get anxious when I spend money on stuff like that. I'm so pathetic. you have to buy a usb card reader Supa, they're pretty cheap and you can find them at most stores.

yeah as stated just grab yourself a card reader and then its plug and play from there

If you have a 3-in-1 or 5-in-1 card reader on your computer, you don't need the usb

if you have to buy a reader, you better shell out a little more (but they're still cheap) for a multi-reader that allows you to read different memory cards (SD,microSD, memorystick, ...)

Whatever you do wind up buying you'll soon come to realize that this was money well spent...

It goes right underneath the battery! there is a little black plastic piece that you just need to lift up and then slip the memory card in the slot At first it seems like that plastic piece is not going to move but it will if you pull it hard enough Once you put the memory card in you just put that plastic piece back over the memory card. voila!
