I think that Toni Morrison and Derek Jeter and that rapper, Lil' Wayne, are the only ones in my area If you go about 15-20 minutes south, you can find all of the Baldwin brothers, Al Pacino, Rosie O'Donnell, Bill Murray, and a bunch of other people. The only celebrity I've actually seen walking around is Meredith Viera. She was wearing a gigantic backpack

We have Martha stewart, Kirstie Allie, John Travolta, a bunch of hippe singers from the sisties and seventies. I could do without all of them.

the lead singer of the band Tesla jeff keith. my mom actually grew up with the guy in georgetown ca. i've met him several times because i'm friends with his mom, i like his mom, but find jeff pretty odd and boring! other than that there's the painter thomas kinkade, he has a home about a mile from mine. i'm told there are alot of artist's that have homes here in the mountains where i live, but i've never met them that i know of anyways.

Allegedly, Prince and for sure Beyonce have homes across the lake from mine. They actually live on the same street my parents lived on. If my parents were still alive, they'd live four doors down from Prince, and five from Beyonce!

However, I have not seen or heard of Prince or Beyonce hanging around anywhere in Clear Lake. I have my spies, though!

Other celebrities that live around me are a bunch of astronauts. After my dad died, my mom sold the house on Clear Lake and moved over by us. The neighbor across the street was Lisa Nowak. We never met her, though.

The Goo-Goo Dolls live in my neighborhood as does Ani DeFranco. 10,000 Maniacs are here too, they're going to have a reunion concert with Natalie Merchant this summer . Kevin Smith has family living nearby, we see him a lot, Jack White also visits our neck of the woods to see family quite often.

in my current area, I believe Michael Crichton, Craig T. Nelson, and Pierce Brosnan. oh, and supposedly Oprah owns huge chunks of this island.


Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Owen Wilson, Robert Downey Jr., and Nick Nolte were all living her recently while filming "Tropical Thunder". A lot of movies or parts of movies are shot here, which is fun, except that half the time you can't get down to the beach you're wanting to go to because they're shooting.



Anthony Kiedis is trying to build a home here, but he's being greeted by the usual bullshit from activists and local regulations.
