I love Busy Lizzies in hanging baskets and pots during the summer but I'm not growing any this year as I'm often not around to water them.

I space mine out but they do grow bushy (errr, excuse the term) biggrin

I do usually deadhead them and they like lots of water. They will look lovely I'm sure.

They look lovely! I think you'll need to ask an expert or find a site for more advice, but I think they're going to come on really nicely - just deadhead and give plenty of water.

Oh, I guess I do. I plant "flowers" I need pictures if you want me to be specific about it.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

In my experience, you should be good with that spacing and such. I have found those to be hearty and aggressive. I have had some spring up 20 yards away from where I have the main group planted.

Nah, just freshly planted. If you haven't already, give them some Miracle-Gro, and they'll go crazy.

To me, and I am no professional, they seem very fragile when you plant them, but given a week or so of water and time, they get pretty sturdy.

Don't worry, in a few weeks they'll fill in like crazy. I love impatiens. They used to call them Busy Lizzy because they grow and spread so quickly.

do you have to pinch them back to make them fill in? Or just leave them do there thing other than dead-heading them.

its kind of the color scheme of my house both inside and out.
outside green and white with some pink.
inside blue/grey white&black moldings-doors is the main back drop and subtle pink accents

They'll fill in regardless, but they'll look bushier the more you pinch them back.

that's just because they are a bit tall. you probably could have planted them twice as far apart and with a good pinch back still had them fill in biggrin they look great though. don't let them crowd your hosta. beautiful retaining wall btw.

that weak hosta is lucky i didnt yank it out with the rest of the junk that was in there smile i didnt cause i know they cost an arm and a leg, but in between my yard and the neighbors there is probably a 1000 sq ft of huge much more attractive hostas that I can propagate at anytime biggrin its just easier to do it when they first start coming up
