Nine years ago, I was hospitalized with an eating disorder. I wore a size 0 and weighed 80 lbs. I had a resting heart rate of 29 bpm. My doctor said, "Your body is eating away at its muscle and internal organs because you aren't feeding it. In any event, the very day I was told I would die, I received over ten cards and letters from various friends, family, and co-workers, and EVERY piece of mail contained some form of the phrase "I'm praying for you." It was weird, but I knew then that I’d make it. That was my happiest moment. Sure, I'd currently like to be thinner.
