i'm sure i had others before this, but the first one i ever had that actually meant something to me was my best friend when i was about 18.

i never told him at the time (not until much later), but it kind of drove an unspoken wedge between us.

then we started hanging out again about 7 years ago. it was nice, but i didn't really have those feelings for him anymore.

about 6 months ago, he sort of came back into my life. he's divorced now. and i'm single again. hope it doesn't become a problem this time. i'd really like to be his friend without having those feelings toward him.
