? 4 U this has been going through the disscussion table at here at
The DownLoad Society and we "papercrayons" wanted to get your input on this... one of the 10 commandments is "thou shall have no God before me" - old testament and if Jesus tells us to pray like this... "Our Father who art in heaven... ect. ect. ect." - new testament then why do we make references to God. when we talk about "the most high" or whatever u want to call him/her/it so on and so on. why do we refer him as "God" when Jesus always referred him as "Father" can someone add input to this subject. | |

well i was thinking this...
Jesus is son of Man... the son is in the image of his father the holy trinity is The Father The Son The Holy Spirit... where is God mention. is it possible that "God" was created to cause a distraction bewteen us and Our Heavenly Father check this tought out the world is in conflict right now and for the most part its over "God" jews palinestines catholics prodistants muslims and so on and so on. yes sure there are other things at stake here but the word "God" appears in everday print as if it were without meaning, yet causing much distruction on many levels. could God be The Devils tool against U. to be continue... | |

"in God we Trust" is printed on the most "important" part of our daily bread.
yet our bread is the cause of so much curuption. Our pledge of allegence is "one Nation under God" when it was told to pray like this "our father ..." is the father being spoken out, the same as the God we trust. more 2 come. -the download society. then how come it is against the law 4 children to be lead together in the "lords prayer" in our schools? | |

Prayer in schools is offensive to people who dont believe in a god, your god, or even call it god. There is no reason public schools should be required to endorse one religion over all others, and make this a daily routine, implying that that one religion is the only "right" one. If there was a way to celebrate numerous religions and beliefs each morning at school then that would be great. Theres not enough time each morning to do that. All prayer in school is is free advertising for christianity. They want to start early conditioning kids to believe that there are no other valid options or beliefs. | |
