Mocking the floods

Was listening to KFI, which is a conservative radio station here in Southern California, and the hosts (Kennedy and Suits) were mocking flood victims. Basically saying the same shit conservative pundits did when Katrina hit, pointing out the obvious

You live under sea level and next to a lake and you're surprised your home is gone?

They were saying the same kind of crap about the flood victims in the midwest. Basically blaming the victim. Everyone is born and call a place home. In all parts of this country, there are natural disasters that will kill people. You can't escape mother nature. It really pissed me off to hear these people talk so much crap, especially since there are probably a lot of conservative folks that have lost their house.

I hope the flood victims recover and that our country is there to help them pray

The lowest elevation in Iowa is 480 ft above sea level.

Fuck them.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

I listen to KFI in the afternoon, the John and Ken show..have been a long time listener even during their hiatus from KFI. What time do Kennedy and Suits come on? I do not know them...I know, Bill Handel in the morning, love him! I turn it off during Rush, and the Dr. Laura show, then John in ken for afternoon?

rolleyes @ KFI. Most of the people in the 500 year flood plain weren't even offered flood insurance. You really have to be in this shit to realize how devastating it is. If you don't live in these parts then you don't really understand just how much of our land this flood hit. eek I live in Cedar Rapids (not in the flood area, thank goodness) and I even I had no clue how far it really hit until I finally made myself drive out through it tonight. It was awful! First off, the smell is horrific. I still have that smell in my nostrils and I never got out of my car! There are trees down, pulled out by the root. There are people getting sick from the stench. They can only clean out their homes for an hour at a time because anything more makes them physically ill. I have a lady at work who lost her home. I want to help her clean it out but I don't think I can handle the smell. I feel so horrible that I can't do more. The worst part of driving through some of the area tonight were the homes you passed that had the red X on the door. Somebody lost their home and chances are it was a home that they didn't even have paid off. I drove past a home that I made a bid on 4 years ago. Someone outbid me and something told me to not counterbid. Thank goodness I went with my gut on this one. That house had a red X on it.

Can't go back in, not even to clean up and will more than likely be bulldozed.

The Cedar, Iowa & Mississippi Rivers flooded in Iowa. And now the Mississippi River is flooding in Missouri & Illinois.
