He is a very good man.He is so down to earth and unassuming. He doesn't let many people close enough to him to get to know him well, but I have had the pleasure of getting to know him. He is supportive, caring, understanding, patient, and giving. He is a GREAT man.

This is basically an appreciation thread. And thanks for not mentioning how I've been sitting on your e-mail for days. I'm... considering carefully what to say... because I care. Thanks Val. You're too sweet to me, I'm telling ya. BlueZebra, you love Imago too? . [Edited 6/18/08 2:44am] No worries! All I care about is if you guys are ok. I am not that sort of friend that gets offended if someone does not answer my emails the same day. You have been a great friend through so much. I always know where to find you when I need ya! Take care! I mean it, you are a great guy. Mon is a lucky girl. Well, thank you. I just try to do my best. I really appreciate your friendship and I'm glad we got to know each other here and I feel sure we'll meet in person before too long. You certainly fit in that down to earth category, if not the guy part so much. Wow, I'm so happy right now. Mon and I seem to be on the exact same wavelength at the moment. We're on top of things with our money, we're exercising together, we're acting right and being good to each other. I've even cut down my beer consumption to 2 or 3 good times per month when we eat and drink with the whole family. We're not spending too long on the net or watching TV too much. We just seem to have found a nice groove.

I have a friend that won a $120 million Mega Millions lottery (he got about $36 million cash value). I knew him before he won it. We bowled in the same league. On the last night of the league's season, he catered a BBQ dinner for everyone. I still didn't know he'd won the lottery - I just thought he was a nice guy.
He was a year or two away from retirement at NASA and intended to work to retirement, but it was impossible. He is very down-to-earth. If you or I didn't win the lottery, you'd be glad this guy did. He has taken care of his family, bought some real estate, and has $30 million or so conservatively invested. He's a good man. He was a good man before he won the lottery, and he hasn't changed.
