I love my contacts.
You will get used to them, only takes a few days.
I do not miss my glasses.

You do look good in glasses but I am sure you are still handsome without them.

It depends how well you tolerate them. I don't do very well with them - they're never comfortable, no matter what kind I get. Plus, I now need bifocals. The bifocal contacts work fairly well - but aren't great in low light. And since I'm a writer by trade, I'm writing and reading a lot. Glasses are better for that.

Basically, I wear contacts on special occasions when I don't want to wear glasses. The rest of the time I wear glasses.

They should give you some to try out. I found that monthlies work a lot better for me than the dailies.

I'm a teacher, so I'm in the same boat- a lot of reading.
I've been wearing bifocals for about 15 years. I got the bifocal contacts and they made me dizzy because they kept adjusting my prescription. I was then given a pair that just took care of the distance prescription, which meant I had to get readers. That sucked. sad
Plus I always feel like I have something like a hair in my eye. mad
I just gave up & went back 2 my glasses. shrug

Like facial hair and shaving, this is a lose-lose situation IMO. Glasses are more convenient because you can pick them up and go, but contacts have obvious advantages (particularly in the summer). I say get them so you'll have options.

me too. Sometimes I take one out at night and leave the other in. And switch night to night. Sometimes I just keep them in for about a week straight or more then throw them out. I guess I wouldnt do that as much if i had a regular pair of glasses, or maybe I would. I just like to see at night when I wake up.
Im fucking blind.

me 2 ... actually that is one of the reasons I wear glasses. If I have to pee when I wake up I need to see something. My humonguous dong is not the issue, that I can find. But the toilet is a little blurry.

yeah he's blind too and likes to be able to see whenever he opens his eyes, so he's like 'why bother taking them out?'
