His mom was scared then loved it because it was smooth and not scary at all. Dylan was in his crate in the back of the car. In the pic above with the helicopter, he is in the car with the back open. We had someone on the ground looking after him. The noise did not phase him at all. We flew past him going in and out and he was not bothered at all. He was a good boy all weekend.

I get travel sick so easily I cannot do something like that . The view must have been wonderful though . Who knows, maybe Dylan would have enjoyed it flying with you as he wasn't bothered at all . Around Portsmouth.
I like this pic as well. It did not seem like we were still in England from up there.

wow ... it doesn't even look like England. It looks like you had the weather for it, so lucky

That's awesome Val!!!!!
England looks just like Florida from the air--only without all the clear blue skies, beautiful white sands, and general cheer.

That is so cool! Helicopter rides are something else!
We used to own a couple, and our pilot was a former Vietnam pilot. We used to strafe boaters and jet skiers on Clear Lake. We'd come in from behind, real low, then pull straight up as we got on top of them. The jet skiers would always jump off, LOL. Everyone we strafed would clap, give us the thumbs up, and beg us to do it again. Except one guy. He called the FAA, and they took a dim view of our strafing boaters, so that was that.

He won't be too big once he is done growing. ACD's are a medium sized breed. His mom and dad are both medium sized dogs. He does have bigger feet than his litter mates though. His mom is in this pic. Dylan is the one sitting up thinking about what he can get into next. Is dad is handsome. You can see him on this link. http://www.austmans.com/nasa.htm

Fun! And how beautiful it must have been.
But you'd never, ever, ever get me in one though! My dad was one of two survivers of a helicopter crash that killed two of his co-workers.

Me, on the otherhand refuse to step foot in one. But really, I would love to get over that fear because it really does look so amazing.

If I was a mom I am sure that I would have some reservations about doing stuff like flying on helicopters and air boats. My mother in law was petrified but once we got up in the air she was giggling and loving every minute of it.
