Supernova is right- my hatred for the Lakers is unrivaled! There is not a player more arrogant than Kobe with his conceited scowl or a player who gets away with more offensive fowls than Shaq. The egos are unparalleled as well. I remember Kobe saying that he wanted to be traded so he could lead the league in scoring and be MVP. Shaq retorted that by going through him, the Lakers won championships. What a bunch of arrogant jerks. The "glamor" and "flash" of the Lakers repulses me. Just play the game, guys! It's hard for me not to hate a team that has both of my least favorite players of all time, in any sport.

You are living in the past, my friend. I've never heard Kobe say those things, I've heard it rumored. Plus, any 18 year old kid out of high school is going to go through growing pains coming straight to the NBA. It would be unrealistic for it NOT to happen. And if Shaq did say that he was right; the team is built around him.

Give it up for MY LAKERS!!! We Came back down by as many as 30 Points &Beat Dallas&that Rejected Circa Glassy-Eyed 1960-64 Beatle Mark Cubain.WOW!!! what a Game.Shaq was alright&doing His thing but Kobe in the 4th Quarter laid the Smack all up side there Heads.if the Lake Show plays like that then all things will be cool in LA LA Land.that Game Last Night was like Game 4 between us&the Kings Last Year in the Playoffs.Games like that you just can't eat but you feel full after a Victory.

Kobe has matured alot over the last couple of years{you can even tell in his interviews} He is now trying to get his teammates involved. It's commonplace for players just hitting the NBA to be somewhat self-centered. But after awhile you normally see that their concern is to master the fundamentals of the game{which will ultimately excel their individual performances}and of course win a championship. Ultimately, putting up 30 to 40 points a night and not winning will take a toll on you.

WAY TO GO LAKERS!!! WHAT A COMEBACK ON LAST NIGHT!!!

i don't see how the lakers are going to 4-peat with a losing record...

even with shaq back, they haven't gotten anything together to win more than one game at a time...

last season, the struggled to beat the kings in the playoff. IMO, the lakers didn't win that series so much as the kings self-destructed...

anyway, there is no one in the east to :wOOt: for. so, i'm going with the kings again this season (Sorry, billy)

All they gotta do is get in the playoffs and the slate is clean again. Then they just gotta play the playoffs the way they used to.I like it that they are in last.Makes it exciting for me.I get to root for the underdog for a change wink

I, too, am enjoying the Lakers' struggles. I know they will make the playoffs, but with what seed? It appears that the Lakers will have at least 30 losses this season, which should put them at a 4 or 5 seed. Will they be able to handle more than one playoff series as the underdog?

They lost to some last place teams last season too, we all know what happened after June.

But they've all got to want it. MAYBE some changes need to be made, MABYE not. Shaq is bitching, with good reason, but he also has to look in the mirror. Right now the two most consistent players on the team are Kobe and second stringer Brian Shaw, who shouldn't be playing as many minutes as he has to lately. Winning 50 or more would be just fine.

The Houston Rockets of 1995 were a 6th seed and had to play most of their post season games on the road. Nobody thought they'd repeat, because they slacked off a whole lot from the previous season. They won the title for the second consecutive year.

Hakeem was a monster and put a hurtin on the young Shaq, Robert Horry was just beginning his reign as a dead eye dagger shooter and crushed Orlando. Swept Shaq's Orlando Magic. The difference is; this would potentially be a 4th straight title - that's harder to do for a number of reasons. All I can say is; if they don't win at least 50 they can forget it.

Walker,D-Fish aren't bringing it&Neither is Fox thus far.but looking out at the West We still can take the Whole Damn thing IMHO.this Laker Run has been a Turn it On&Turn it Off Vibe over the past Couple of Years.one thing about these Lakers they like Drama&Keep you on the Edge.Shaq isn't even fully back&Shaq can say whatever He wants because anybody in the Know knows He Played Last Year at only 75% Tops. The Cat was still scoring 30 Plus Points,Plenty of Rebounds&His Assits are just coming more&more.the Cat was Whipping Ass on One Good Foot.Shaq took James Brown too Heart. He got on the Good Foot&took it too the Ring Store too Collect.Kobe is Having a Helluva Year.B-Shaw is Shooting way too Many Big Shoots than He Should have too.I think Fox has too Step it up.As Laker Fans you Know Robert Horry only has like 10-12 Good Games during the Season. He saves Himself for the 2nd-Round onward in the Playoffs too the Finals.Kareem Rush needs too Step up as well.I Still Feel we can Make a Solid Run but some Cats are too Comfortable&just Happy with what they got.of course I think the Lakers gotta add More.the Bench Especially&we gotta Tighten up on Defense.but Wins like that over the Mavericks do Wonders for You.but that loss to Golden State brought Reality back quickly.
