on tv, they have impeccable taste in clothing, home design, hygiene and culinary abilities. evry cable station has a makeover show with a gay guy on it. so, do you (or any of your gay friends) have any of the qualities that they put forth on tv? the gay firends i have all look and act like slobs and dressing up consists of jeans and a $20 shirt. lol

Gay= Impeccable. Thought you knew.

Maybe your friends aren't gay, they just don't want to date you (joking).

Gay men, like straight men, like people in general run the spectrum.
I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

you know, if i had to choose between hot men and gourmet burritos, i think the variable of a free nacho bar would be the deciding factor.

i think that's the million dollar answer. stereotypes exist for a reason, but that doesn't mean that everyone conforms to those stereotypes 100%, or even 1%.

i think it's fun to giggle sometimes about how stereotypical myself and my friends can be, but at the same time i realize that there's a lot more to people than these little characteristics that have been assigned as "stereotypes".

i do think there are some people who try really hard to EMBRACE all the stereotypes because maybe they've just come out and they're trying as hard as they can to identify as gay and shout it out to the universe as loud as they can. those people either usually get over it after a year or two, or else they become really scary individuals as they reach middle age. lol

i forget, do you live in new york? have you been to the burritoville mexican restaurant?

it's really a little bit of semi-heaven on earth. drool

i discovered on my last visit that the only burrito i can get from them is the route 66 burrito, though. i tried some crazy vegan soy cheese variety and it tasted nasty like poop. not even poop. soy poop substitute. barf

anyway. if you're ever near a burritoville, treat yourself. just stay on route 66. lol

oh god, now i'm jacking the thread. redface

so yeah - gay people. WOOO!!! woot!

horatio

oh HELL NO!
the worst is when some gay assumes being gay automatically makes him have the greatest style/taste maker.
Or the young ones just figuring out who they are who think that they have to swish around all nelly like cause they are gay, THAT definitely is not having it together.
