Do you clean your computer put? Mine is in dire need of sorting.... Yikes!


Ihave music I've no use for on it and a gadzillion other things too!

it took me many of computer cleanig to decide this harddrive will always be in order

Its a bitch of a process but far less exspensive then redoing both.

i just got my newest laptop early this spring, and i've been trying to be diligent about the crap i store on it. i keep all my music on an external hard drive and i make sure any pics i save go to my picture folder, any docs i save go to my docs folder, etc. - instead of just saving them whereverthehell, like i usually do. it's a little OCD, but being a slob is SO '07.

I pretty much have mine organized all the time. However, I should back up things more often. It would have saved me the time and/or money I'm going to have to spend to try to get things back from my portable hard drive which just crashed on Thursday. I lost my Torchwood episodes, a good chunk of my documents some of which I've had since college, and all of my Yoda's Treasure footage. It just about made me physically ill to lose that stuff.

since mine broke I vowed to get myself into order, but all I did was get a backing up system that does it for me, so now my HDs fill up with crap continously

I've decided instead of getting a new hard drive for my external hard drive enclosure, I'll get a decent USB flash drive instead. 32GB would be nice, but it's still too damn expensive. Maybe I can get by with a 4 or 8GB. There's really no need to carry ALL my stuff around with me like I was doing.
