Let’s face it, the orger we call “Anxiety” or “Anx” is really an institution. He often embodies what we love so much on the org: humor, wit, compassion, drama, and ass. But to define Anxiety by the content of his posts or threads would be like trying to define Shaq by his rap career—you couldn’t possibly know that he was so talented in other aspects of his life by his mediocre, embarrassing , and tepid rymes.

Likewise, one would never know by Anxiety’s elitists posts that he’s a very compassionate and considerate person. His gestures often reveal the true ‘Anx’ that nobody sees. Sort of like the time 2the9s was so concerned with Shausler that he requested I start a webpage and snapvine account so we could leave messages for Steven.

I guess I should give you a bit of background on that situation. Shausler, one of our favorite orgers here on the org, had posted a few things last year revealing that he was going through some tough times. 2the9s, even though he pretends to be tough and rough, and all hardcore, actually turned in to one big Northen blue-state pussy, and asked me if there was anything that I could do, since he has about as much computer knowledge as an uncontacted tribe in the Amazon. “Dan, “ 9sey said in his sort of girlish voice, “is there anything you can do?”
“Sure “, I replied. I’ll set something up.

9sey then went through the trouble of calling or orgnote various orgers individually so as not to make a huge spectacle of it on the threads, and rounded everyone up to leave these rather sweet messages. It was one of those rare times, where I realize that this place really is a community, and that we really can love each other though most have never met. It was a very sweet moment, and brought to you by 2the9s and his altruistic, compassionate, nature. He didn’t even want any credit or recognition for the act, and was totally classy about it. He’s probably mortified I even brought this story up.

From time to time, whenever I’m down or whatnot, 9sey will actually orgnote me and say something really stupid to cheer me up. Or he’ll send me that awful meatspin link, and despite myself, I end up laughing after the initial shock of seeing someone’s penis repeatedly pounding another man’s ass with his penis spinning in a clockwise motion to the music of Pete Burn’s “You spin me right round”—trust me folks, it’s really funny if you get passed the in-your-face buttsex stuff. But I digress, 2the9s , despite his ‘hard’ exterior is actually a very sweet guy. A stellar individual. A great father. A scollar, and a compassionate friend.

He is not aware of this but about a month ago I was going to close my Org account and leave. Something he wrote on that very day in a thread made me see things differently and helped me to realize that leaving was not the thing to do

so I stayed
