Actually a lot of them are quite affordable, cheap even. But those are the ones that are centuries old and require rennovations up the wazoo. By the time you get done with finding bricklayers and relief restorers and get the wiring and water in properly you need at least a hundred grand on hand just to make it habitable .

Girl, I need a new kitchen in the worst way. I have no cupboards! I've been using old microwave carts to store my pots and pans and food! I've even gone to garage sales looking for someone's old cruddy cupboards just to get me by. I really should start playing the lottery.
