I'm trying to reorganize stuff....and someone keeps dumping their junk in my room. I have so much stuff...I use to be a hoarder, but now I'm trying to get rid of anything I can.

My family & I just gave clothes for the flood victims. I try to go through my clothes every summer. I used to be a clothes hoarder too but I'm learning to get rid of things that I haven't worn in a year.

WE do and have for 18 yrs or more

Usually to the local home for children that do not have parents

I gave clothes to Charity and she took it the wrong way

I always do that. Anything in good condition goes. The rest goes to the garbage.

I give clothes to charity a few times a year. I don't hang on to stuff that I know I will never fit into again, and with three kids, they outgrow clothes every season.

I like to stop at this second hand store in my town every month or so and browse through the kitchen section in particular. I've found some great things, like my brand new Bodum French coffee press for only $2!!!

oh yes, it's good to have a clear out every now and then.

My church does a food pantry, and they also hang up clothes for recipients to look thru. I stopped putting them in those bins U see in parking lots because I started 2 notice that they just sat & sat & sat in those things.

when i lived in chicago, i lived just around the block from a charity shop and i would donate clothes to them all the time, whenever i was doing a house cleaning and purging clothes. i'd also donate books and whatever else i thought might be useful. i'm sure there are little bits of my past lives scattered all about my old neighborhood from people shopping at that charity store.

I donate unwanted clothes to charity all the time. It makes me feel good, and helps out somebody else who is less fortunate.

i give things every time i go through my closet and find something i haven't worm in forever.
