HOLY MF'ing Thirst Quenching!

WATER:
3 bottles a day at $1.25 a bottle. In a week, I spend about $16.25 on water bottles. whofarted and in a typical year, that’s $780 dollars (48 work weeks).

COFFEE:
About 15 dollars a week times 52 weeks (cause I drink lattes whether I’m working or not), totaling $720 dollars.

Smoothies
I spend about $18 a week on smoothies. Multiplied by 52 weeks is $925 dollars.

So to quench my thirst, if I do a VERY conservative calculation from the numbers above, it will cost me $2425 to quench my goddamned thirst falloff this year.

WOW.
Time for me to make some changes in my spending habbits. $2425 is a hell of a lot of debt I could be paying down or a vacation I can be taking. lol Gawd damn.

On just the water Alone, I’ve bought a BRITA water filter/pitcher today that I’ve taken to work. Today I saved $3.75 in water (I drink 3 bottles a day at work). So the pitcher is half way paid for lol
Every two months I need to replace the filtuer (5 bucks), so with 6 filter swaps a year, that’s 30 bucks vs. $780 bucks. lol

Now I just need to figure my Smoothie and Coffee lifestyle changes lol

Damn…. A few small changes makes a hell of a lot of difference. whofarted

What’s your water/Latte factor like?

I make my own tea at work in the mornings and try my best to bring water from home as I don't like the water from the city I work in.

I can only mention water, since I put a lot of effort into not drink my calories, I got issues. Anyway, I like the taste of Nestle water, which I lucked out cause Sparkletts is my favorite. Nestle 24 pk, cheapest is $3.88.

Technically, you have to take coffee out of the equation. It's a diarretic. It's not quenching anything mister!

I have a PUR filter, but I don't like the taste as much as bottled. Fortunately my work supplies water, so I can drink that.

But I also drink sparkling water. I need to find a way to make my own seltzer.

We haven't gotten to beer yet...

4-can min red bull a day!?! shake Geez! Why not just try crystal meth? It'd be a cheaper habit.

Saying that it last 2 weeks , that's 100.8 USD a year.
So you'd save about 70 dollars a year going to Brita filters--not a huge savings actually.

So your solution ain't half bad hmmm financially.
Though environmentally that's 624 plastic bottles.

What is sparkling water anyways? It's far more commonly served in Europe than still water. I found it to be gross gross gross!

How does it get sparkling?

No, nevermind, don't answer that. I'm afraid we'll get XxaxX's wikipedia itch going.
