goddamn car problems just put $85 worth of gas in the fucker...then with 4 days of 95+ degree days, my engine manifold goes bad--$900, parts and labor. 
and i get paid next week. and i work 25 miles from home.

I wonder what they meant by "manifold went bad" did they give you any more information. Intake or exhaust, what exactly went wrong. What type of car do you have? Le prego di non toccare la macchina per favore! | |

I wonder what they meant by "manifold went bad" did they give you any more information. Intake or exhaust, what exactly went wrong. What type of car do you have? i have a 2000 oldsmobile silhouette mv. he says it's the intake manifold. the POS started overheating yesterday and then again this morning, going hot in less than 15 minutes. the part is $350, the labor might come in at around 7 hours. hopefully it will come in closer to $750 or 800 | |

The part price seams sort of high, usually it's just the gasket. I guess it could need the whole intake if it warped or something. Sorry to hear it happened.
