Planning a trip to Miami / South Beach Florida. Searching the endless hotels. I want to be able to party , have fun but still get at least 4 hours of sleep a night . Im an old homo i need rest.

Any orgers who have been have any advice on cool places to concider staying or general travel advice for the area.

I can't remember the name of the place but it was affordable, stumbling distance from anything you'd want to do and quiet. But everything in the hotel was lavendar, down to the bathrobes they provided.

HOLY HELL ! you mean EVERYTHING is purple.

One tip. Don't rely on the fact that you see the numbered streets to try and get anywhere. We ended up at 25th and 25th Nobody told us that one direction is streets and the other avenues! Make sure you get that shit down pat or you'll never make it to the club

No bugs, but it did seem just the tiniest bit, oh, I don't know. It was clean and everything, no question about that. Just that it seems a couple years past it's prime. The outside area, for example, didn't look nearly as nice as in the picture. Just maybe not quite as manicured, the chairs are no longer brand-new looking, etc.

It appeared to be under new management when we went and not as charming as I remembered. But still a great price, super great location, and interesting decor . Campy, fun.


But, I would also recommend the Essex House. That's the gay hotel, and located one block south (right by that Bar you to' up from the flo' up Carrie )
