Am I blocked on your Yahoo Messenger? I thought that was the main org instant message service of choice but shit I never see anyone who leaves it running like my MSN or AIM.

i keep that mess turned off. i don't think i've even opened it once since i got a new laptop earlier this year. if ya wanna talk to me, email me or orgnote me. no little pop up boxes expecting me to respond NOW NOW NOW!!!!

I quit all messengers about 6 years ago, for the reasons Anxiety mentioned above. There were some specific friends that just would not shut up and leave me alone and got hurt when I didn't return their messages immediately, but then would disappear without warning for 2 hours and then come back expecting me to still be there waiting to rad the next brainless thing they had to say.
I did recently get back on MSN, though, to talk to a specific person and then added a few others. In 3 months, I've got 4 messenger buddies now. And I've only talked to 2 of them more than once.
