There have been many threads lately talking about Christianity and religion in general, so please pardon my tangent.

Can someone please tell me what religion God practices? I want to make sure that I choose the right one. Also, wasn't Jesus Jewish? So should I choose the Jewish faith since Jesus was Jewish? I mean if it's good enough for Jesus...

Jesus didn't teach about a religion. He didn't even teach about himself per se, but he did teach about love and about God. He taught how to act and react. He taught about kindness and giving and living a Christ like life. He didn't teach about religions or following a religion. He taught a way of life, a way of living. It's sad that his message has gotten twisted so that it has become more of a debate about what religion is the right one more than it is about what he taught. I don't think that Jesus EVER intended for a religion to be created around him. That is just my take on this.
