Since the incision is in a visible place, you may want to consider Mederma, once it's healed more. It's an over the counter cream, for minimizing scars. Plastic surgeons recommend it. Check with your surgeon,first.
My son had a cut below his eye that was sutured, and was told to apply it, and the wound isn't visible.
